Bio

A twice-exited startup founder and seasoned coach, Amy supports founders, leaders, and executives to accelerate mindset and behavioral change, resolve interpersonal conflict, and cultivate high empathy/ high-performance teams. Amy has worked with hundreds of leaders to transform the way they lead, achieve and succeed, including many venture-backed startups, OpenAI, Tesla, Google, the United Nations, Instacart, Stanford University, NASA, Gates Foundation, National Geographic Channel, Naval Air Systems Command, Mitre, and more.

A Fellow of the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School, and certified in Diversity and Inclusion at Cornell University, Amy has pioneered in multiple sectors for three decades:

  • Amy co-founded U.S. LifeLine, which developed the first healthcare industry SaaS portal on the internet; 80% of all U.S. health system CEOs and many members of Congress subscribed. USL was acquired by Neoforma in 2000.
  • Via her next company, PROfusion Public Relations, a global communications firm, Amy helped launch the profession of coaching in the mid-90s, transforming the two largest organizations, Coach U. Inc. and the International Coaching Federation, into global brands, and adding ”coaching” to the vernacular in 51 countries.
  • Amy was featured in and helped produce an award-winning human rights documentary, “The Price of Honor,” that she arranged to premiere at the US Capital hosted by three Congresswomen, the US Justice department and the World Bank. The film compelled the FBI to reopen a cold case of double homicide which led to the capture and conviction of a Top 10 Most Wanted fugitive and his conspirators.
  • As President of UN Women San Francisco Bay Area for two terms, Amy founded the Global Voices Film Festival featuring female filmmakers, recently in its fifth season, held at Lucasfilm, partnering with Salesforce, Lyft and GoPro.

Amy is working on her MA/PhD in Depth Psychology at Pacifica University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication from American University in Washington, DC, and did post-graduate work in International Relations at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Amy offers customized talent development services: individual coaching, 360 feedback assessments, and conflict transformation.
