Carolyn Dateo is a seasoned leader for strategists, creatives, marketers, and solopreneurs. Currently, she coaches strategists and solopreneurs, empowering them in leadership development based on their strengths, goals, and opportunities. A Founding Member of Hudson Valley Women in Business, Carolyn facilitates Mastermind sessions coaching for Executive Presence and in assessing business development and innovation plans at the grassroots level. In her previous roles leading strategy teams, Carolyn has been recognized for making people feel heard and seen, and for helping them grow in their strategic practice, client management, team relationship enhancement, and personal development. She utilizes key tools such as Clifton StrengthsFinder, cognitive biases, neuro-linguistic programming, Myers-Briggs, and HBDI/Whole Brain Thinking. Carolyn and her husband have raised two daughters, both of whom have benefited from her guidance in interviewing and job search strategies, interpersonal relations and in learning how to provide feedback for creative and problem-solving impact. In her spare time, she mentors under socialized shelter cats resulting in successful foster placement and adoption. Carolyn has been practicing mindfulness and yoga for over 2 decades and appreciates the outdoors through hiking and climate advocacy.
