Javier has over 25 years of experience in the corporate world leading sales, marketing, and operations teams in technology companies such as Apple and Adobe and working in the Human Resources team at ManpowerGroup where he developed career development and career mobility programs which gives him an inside-out perspective of the entire human capital cycle, from hiring to developing talent.

Besides being a certified coach, he is trained and certified in several assessment tools such as Hogan, Birkman and others that can be used to get insights and create self-awareness of your own super-powers that you can use in your leadership development or in your career decisions.

Javier is passionate about helping people to discover their “Aha” moment when defining their career objectives or finding their dream job that is in line with their personal and professional goals. His approach is an outcome-based coaching/mentoring that helps find clarity and gain confidence to develop a strategy with actionable plans for the next job and future stages in the professional career that can guide individuals to follow their dreams and aspirations.

Describe your coaching style.

Integrate the power of trust and accountability. Be curious and listen to my clients, allow them to be creative, and find answers when they feel that they are stuck.

Who is your ideal client and why?

Someone with a growth mindset and willingness to learn and understand that behaviors, skills, and intelligence can be cultivated and are not set in stone.

How do you measure success with a client?

For personal and professional growth, three things need to occur: 1) Self-awareness allows individuals to identify what they need to learn or change. They cannot change something until they know what needs to be done, 2) Decide if they need to change, and 3) Create a plan that includes stopping, or starting to do something, or continuing and amplifying something they are doing right, and bring accountability for the change to occur. Success can be measured in each of these 3 steps.

What is your coaching superpower?

I am mixing coaching and mentoring during my sessions. My background in running different businesses and working in Human Resources helps me understand what people are experiencing in their careers.
