Authentic communication and shared learning feed our powerful coaching relationship. I coach leaders by helping them move from planning, to action, to outcomes by identifying and executing on small, incremental changes that add up to significant impact. Together we focus on answering: What might be the most elegant steps to take us closer to the vision for our future?
When it comes to the success of our relationship, I think in terms of outcomes. As clients learn more about themselves, and take action in their lives we ask better questions and reach better outcomes. If they can find and get more of what they love out of life, then I would consider our relationship is a success.
I help clients through the process of “way-finding” in their life. We may not have all the answers, and as I work with clients, I help them know themselves more deeply and identify and bring forth their intuition. We work on smaller, more tangible investments to uncover the path forward. Learning to ask the right questions helps them understand their situation with a new perspective and insight.
I use several different methodologies and frameworks really depending on what environment and situation the client is in. Because leadership is such a deep and complex topic, I prefer to work with clients first to identify areas of growth and learning and then fit the methodology or tool to the coaching context. I’m comfortable with Clifton Strengths, MBTI, DiSC, SL2, Moving Motivators, any type of 360, and other frameworks.
