Todd Sullivan is a 30-year veteran of the United States Navy, serving both as enlisted and a commissioned officer in the fields of logistics and Human Resources. Throughout his career in the Navy, Todd sought out demanding positions that enabled him to grow professionally and as a leader. He served onboard three submarines, a fast-action combat cargo ship, and as Officer-in-Charge of an aviation logistics unit, supporting F-14 & F/A-18 aircraft. Additionally, he served on an Admirals staff overseeing logistics and personnel readiness; completed a tour in Iraq with the US Marine Corps; and a one-year joint tour in Afghanistan developing the Afghan National Police. He finished his career leading recruiting operations in Nashville, TN as the Commanding Officer of Navy Recruiting District - Nashville. He led his command through a transformation which the entire Navy Recruiting enterprise is now undertaking based on the model he and his team built. Since retiring from uniform, he has had a role as Human Resources Manager with a professional services company where he specialized in employee engagement and team development. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Hero Publishing, a content development company specializing in risk, security, and vulnerability. He was instrumental in redeveloping products, growing new offerings, and building a team of former government professionals to assist in keeping the public safe. Most recently Todd has been an executive & leadership coach in his own business, People Always Minset.
Todd is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Resilience Building Leader Program-Trainer (RBLP-T) and an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Governors State University and a Master of Science in Management (Organizational Effectiveness & Leadership) from Troy University. Above all of this, he is most proud of his two adult children; Michael & Leah, and loves spending time with his wife, Amy, and their two dogs.
