I ask a lot of questions, offer the Got Purpose Assessment Tool, and create a space for them to describe their present state and envision their ideal condition if no barriers were in the way.
My coaching style is based on the premise that individuals have the capacity both to understand and to engage in activities intended to transform consciously. Having been in many of my clients’ shoes, I have combined my over 20 years of corporate experience with my deep knowledge of social-emotional intelligence and created a three-step methodology I call the Breaking Through Coaching Method. Through this method, engage, envision, and execute, my clients experience what it means to be seen, heard, and understood, a proven environment for growth and learning. Rapidly, my clients start developing self-awareness, cultivating a growth mindset, and changing limiting beliefs, behaviors, and thinking that have held them back from their potential, satisfaction, and success.
Every session, in the end, I ask how the session went, if they are complete and if there is clarity on the next steps. If things need to be adjusted, we will assess each session to see if the client needs additional support. Clients identify and take up activities meant to generate action and challenge previous mistaken truths, beliefs, and behaviors. Every week, my clients are moving towards an ideal state.
