Shad McFadden is an executive coach who’s spent more than 20 years leading teams and guiding change across industries including technology, media, and entertainment. He’s worked with organizations such as Accenture, PwC, DIRECTV, and AT&T, helping leaders build alignment, improve communication, and turn strategy into real-world results.
As the Chief of Staff to the VP of IT Development during the AT&T/DIRECTV merger, Shad saw firsthand how leadership, trust, and clarity can make or break transformation. That experience, along with earlier roles at Accenture, Kenan Systems, and PwC Consulting, shaped his belief that successful organizations don’t just manage change; they actively lead it from the inside out. Between his corporate roles, Shad worked in the Los Angeles entertainment scene with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and The Donahue Group, learning the power of storytelling, relationships, and authenticity. These lessons continue to inform his coaching today.
Outside of work, Shad has spent the past 11 years coaching his daughters’ soccer teams, and he plans to keep coaching until they hang up their cleats. It’s where his leadership philosophy comes alive in a different arena: meet people where they are, give them the tools and confidence to grow, and celebrate the small wins along the way.
Now, as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Shad helps executives and teams lead with purpose, build trust, and communicate with impact. His coaching blends real-world executive experience with a human-centered approach, because leadership isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection.
