Warmth and empathy are core to my communication style. I strive to balance providing validation, and supportively challenging my clients as appropriate, and will help you identify patterns that allow problems to be solved at their root.
My strengths with job search coaching are in personal branding and networking, as well as developing a job search strategy that integrates wellbeing, for a job search has the potential to become stressful if not managed in the right way. I love working with people who feel like they aren’t the networking or personal branding “type” to refine the messaging and approach that supports career growth and builds connections in an authentic way, in addition to helping them expand their access to opportunities and competitiveness in the marketplace.
Measurable goals are the foundation of my client relationships, whether that’s helping a client resolve team issues or transition into their dream role. One of my favorite questions is, “if you could snap your fingers and change one thing about your life by the end of our relationship, what would that be?” From there, we break your vision down into sustainable steps. I measure success by my client’s ability to learn, pivot, and persist through the challenges as they take strides towards creating the life they desire.
I’ve worked with many different people to upgrade their careers from all walks of life, including roles, industries, experience levels, and personal values. Common themes with the people I help include: helping people who had a laundry list of interests get clear on their priorities and go from overwhelmed to a clear path forward; people who were stuck in a toxic, dead-end role to get serious upgrades in terms of pay and seniority in their next role; and people who were looking to clarify their longer-term career path in order to orient their current work in a more strategic direction.
